Think about this...how would you rather spend your time? Exercising a few minutes every day now? Or sick in bed later?
What is interesting is that most people don't really appreciate their health until they lose it.....
The trends for aging in the U.S. are grim.

So what's the point of living a long time if you can't enjoy it? Think about all of the problems many of our friends and family have experienced as they have grown older.
Well, these aliments don't have to occur just because your getting older or aging as chronicled in the "Blue Zone" by Dan Buettner, who has identified five regions in the world that have the most healthy centenarians alive today. So why then is chronic illness becoming such an epidemic? Scientists and researches now know and continue to study imbalances that occur in any of the seven core physiological processes ( i.e., gastrointestinal, nervous, immune system, cardiovascular, reproductive, dermatological, and hematological). When imbalances occur, they can affect any of the body's organ systems, and these imbalances can be the source of many chronic illnesses such as Arthritis, Asthma, Diabetes, Crohn's, Ulcerative Colitis, and Cancer. How might this happen? Your environment, your behavior, and your lifestyle send messages to your body in several ways -- your diet, from your surroundings (i.e., air, shelter, lack of sleep, or landscape), in the exercise you do, or fail to do, including stress and or trauma? These inputs get processed through your unique genetic predisposition. Given that your genes are responding at all times, somewhere, sometimes those interactions can malfunction and evoke a particular response that can throw one of your core physiological processes out of balance. According to Dr. Jeffery Bland, M.D. (2014), it's not impossible that when a mismatch occurs between your external and internal environment, such imbalance gives rise to symptoms of ill health. But, when health becomes your hobby, you can enjoy things like....good gut health, clear thinking, increased energy, clear vision, and many other benefits. Researches who study the health habits of cultures with the highest longevity, like the Blue Zone areas, focus less on lifespan and more on health-span ( the number of disability-free years we live in reasonably good health). We know that humans are living longer more than ever in most developed countries, yet statics show that this fast-growing segment, people over eighty-five, are not living better.Your quality of life should be more important than how long you live, and making health a hobby is the way!
Remember, people who live long, healthy lives have more than likely invested in their health by including healthy eating, staying active, taking appropriate supplements for maintaining cellular health, and having a good attitude.
