There is a tremendous amount of research that shows inflammation is the cause of many major diseases; such as Cognitivitis (Alzheimer), Gingivitis (gum disease), Carditis (cardiovascular disease), Bronchitis (asthma), Colitis (intestinal illness), Dermatitis (skin inflammation), Arthritis (joint pain), Nephritis (kidney disease), Retinitis (vision loss), Thyroid (thyroiditis), Endothelialitis (clots in blood vessels), and Posturitis (poor posture).
According to Dr. Bill Sears, the author of the Inflammation Solution, an anti-inflammatory diet is a real food diet. Real foods are those that go directly from the farm or the ground, or a tree, or from the sea and into our mouths. These foods spend little time in a food factory being processed.
Here is what science tells us. The inflammation in your body has adapted over thousands of years to conclude every time you put food in your mouth: Your body ask is this real food or fake food. Does it fit my natural biochemistry? Is it welcome here, so my body doesn’t fight it? Can I effortlessly escort it throughout my body and does it help my body use it metabolically?

Inflammation research teaches us that the more chemically laced or processed food you eat, the more the body’s defense system fights and the more inflammation it causes. If you want to know if your food is chemically laced or processed, just read the ingredients. My motto is “If I can’t pronounce the word listed in the ingredients, I don’t eat it”?.
Food is your medicine and eating an anti-inflammatory diet can help. Eating fresh, whole foods, and adding spices like Turmeric, Black Pepper, Cinnamon, Chilis, Ginger, and Garlic are excellent sources for an anti-inflammatory diet.
