There is a tremendous amount of research that shows inflammation is the cause of many major diseases.
- Cognitivitis (Alzheimer)
- Gingivitis (gum disease)
- Carditis (cardiovascular disease)
- Bronchitis (asthma)
- Colitis (intestinal illness)
- Dermatitis(skin inflammation)
- Arthritis (joint pain)
- Nephritis (kidney disease)
- Retinitis (vision loss)
- Thyroiditis (thyroid disease)
- Endothelialitis (clots in blood vessels)
- Posturitis (poor posture)
Remember, one of your health goals should be to balance inflammation.
Food is your medicine and eating an anti-inflammatory diet can help. Spices like Turmeric, Black Pepper, Cinnamon, Chilis, Ginger, and Garlic are an excellent place to start.

Today, let’s talk about Cinnamon!!
Many of us have a sweet tooth, and a suitable replacement is Cinnamon. There is research that shows adding cinnamon to desserts instead of sugar helps to reduce the blood spikes that regular sugar causes. Scientist at the Human Nutrition Research Center in Beltsville, Maryland, discovered that people with type ll diabetes were able to lower their blood level and fats (LDL cholesterol and triglycerides) after eating Cinnamon.
And Cinnamon rolls don’t count.?
So add some cinnamon to your cereal, coffee, or protein shakes. Your body will thank you for it. Do you use Cinnamon? What do you use it on? Drop me a comment and share how you use Cinnamon.
